This app provides a comprehensive collection of lyrics used by Tamil churches worldwide. With an elegantly designed interface and no advertisements, you can now sing songs of praise and thanksgiving to God using this app.

Worship Songs was developed to fill a gap in the market, as we couldn't find an app that offered both Tamil and Transliterated (Romanised) text. Our vision has since expanded to include a wide range of high-quality songs that Tamil Christians use to worship and glorify God, all conveniently available in one user-friendly app.

In addition to Tamil songs, Worship Songs also offers popular English songs, eliminating the need for multiple apps. The vast song database is constantly growing, with new tracks added regularly, ensuring that you'll never miss your favorite song. It's important to note that we carefully select only high-quality songs based on scriptural principles and do not include every available song.

One unique aspect of Worship Songs is that it is open source, allowing users to actively contribute to the project. This collaborative approach enables individuals to play a part in further enhancing the app's functionality and content—a great opportunity for those interested in joining the project.

  Refine your search terms. Worship Songs provides song titles that closely match their Tamil counterparts. For example, try searching for "Aarathanai" instead of "Arathanai".
• Q. I still couldn't find the song. I bet it's not there in your database. What now?
  You can create a new issue on our open source project's GitHub page at https://github.com/mcruncher/worshipsongs-db-dev. You are welcome to contribute song lyrics if you're interested.

  Absolutely. The songs database shipped with this app is already used by Tamil Methodist Church Subang Jaya. To use the songs in your Church, you'll need to install a software called OpenLP and replace its default songs database with the one included in this app.
